Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to all Reiki sessions and services provided by Auramaia. By booking an appointment, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following terms.

1. Nature of the Service

Reiki is a complementary wellbeing practice intended to support relaxation, nervous system regulation, and general wellbeing. It is not a substitute for medical diagnosis, treatment, or professional healthcare.

Auramaia does not offer medical, psychological, or counselling services. Clients are encouraged to continue working with their GP or healthcare provider alongside this work.

2. Eligibility

Reiki sessions are available to adults aged 18 and over.
Embodied Restorative Reiki and Distance Reiki are available to adults of all genders.
Feminine embodiment and empowerment offerings (where applicable) are offered to women.

3. Booking & Payment

All sessions must be booked in advance via the online booking system.

A £15 non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your appointment. The remaining balance is payable before or at the time of your session.

Appointments are held exclusively for you and cannot be offered to another client at short notice.

4. Cancellation & Rescheduling

A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment.

  • Cancellations made with more than 24 hours’ notice may transfer the £15 deposit to a future booking.

  • Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice, or missed appointments, will result in the loss of the £15 deposit.

  • Late arrivals may result in a shortened session, with the full session fee still applying.

These terms apply to both in-person and distance sessions.

5. Distance Reiki Sessions

Distance Reiki sessions are held at the scheduled time. Clients are responsible for ensuring they are in a safe, comfortable environment during the session.

The same booking, payment, and cancellation policies apply to distance sessions.

6. Health & Responsibility

Clients remain fully responsible for their physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing during and after sessions.

Reiki sessions do not require verbal disclosure of personal history. No diagnosis, interpretation, or treatment of medical conditions is provided.

If you have a medical condition, mental health diagnosis, or are receiving ongoing care, you are advised to consult your healthcare provider before booking.

7. Scope & Boundaries

Auramaia does not provide trauma therapy, counselling, or medical treatment. Sessions do not involve processing or revisiting past experiences.

Any guidance offered is wellbeing-focused and non-directive.

Auramaia reserves the right to decline or discontinue a session if it is deemed outside the scope of practice or not appropriate for the client’s needs.

8. Confidentiality

All client information is treated with confidentiality and handled in accordance with data protection regulations. Information will not be shared without consent unless required by law.

9. Changes to Services

Auramaia reserves the right to update services, pricing, policies, or availability at any time. Any changes will be reflected on the website.

10. Acceptance of Terms

By booking a session with Auramaia, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms & Conditions.

If you have any questions regarding these terms or your suitability for a session, please get in touch before booking.
